Injury Shuts Down Burgos for Season Monday, July 3rd , 2045 Obviously disappointed, Leo Burgos confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Las Vegas reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 20-year-old Burgos suffered a torn labrum on 07/01/2045 and has been out of action since. This year Burgos has made 40 relief appearances with 3 saves. In 53 innings, he has permitted 56 hits, fanned 35 hitters and recorded 4 wins and 2 losses with a 7.13 ERA. |
