Mäyrä Blisters Rochester Friday, August 4th , 2045 Nashville Sounds left fielder Isto Mäyrä went ballistic today with the bat. He hammered the Rochester Red Wings for 5 hits and drove Nashville to a 11-4 win over Rochester at Frontier Field. Isto Mäyrä doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Angel Vidaurri in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. So far this season, Mäyrä has recorded a .303 batting average with 27 hits, 6 home runs, 31 RBIs, 21 runs scored and a .400 OBP. |
