McDonald Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, August 10th , 2045 Dana McDonald of the Syracuse Chiefs extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 4-0 triumph over the Reno Aces at NBT Bank Stadium. "Dana has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Chiefs manager Jaren Matthews joked after the game. Dana McDonald grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and walked in the 8th. For the year McDonald has hit at a .327 clip with 70 RBIs, 16 home runs and 66 runs scored. |
