Hit Parade: Sandoval Pops 5 Hits Saturday, August 12th , 2045 Paul Sandoval said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Louisville Slugger Field, and it showed in the box score. The Louisville shortstop had a fantastic 5-for-7 day against the Iowa Cubs, leading his club to victory, 22-2. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Sandoval said later." Paul Sandoval struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Thus far this season Sandoval has hit .256 with 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 54 times. |
