Danny Hill Rockets 3 Home Runs Friday, August 25th , 2045 Fans are still buzzing after Lehigh Valley whipped the Reno Aces by the score of 13-5 today at Coca-Cola Park. Danny Hill smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Hill said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Hill said. "Three is just... wow." Danny Hill walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Andy Temples in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Alan Phillips in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Brad Brown in the 8th. Posting a .390 batting average to date, Hill has 8 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
