Great Stroke: Bianchard Gets 5 Hits Saturday, August 26th , 2045 The Albuquerque Isotopes tripped up the Iowa Cubs 28-1 today. The Isotopes were led by Alan Bianchard, their 24-year-old left fielder. Bianchard made life miserable for Iowa pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Alan Bianchard singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Rashid bin Ala' in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off John Holst in the 7th. On the year Bianchard is hitting .263 with 118 hits, 21 home runs, 73 RBIs, .333 OBP and has scored 74 runs. |
