Injury Derails Season for Herrera Thursday, September 7th , 2045 Clearly dejected, Jose Herrera left the Las Vegas clubhouse nearly in tears this afternoon. He acknowledged that his season is over after sustaining a stretched elbow ligament in a ballgame recently. It brings an early end to the Las Vegas reliever's season. This season Herrera has made 20 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 4.32 ERA. In pitching 33.1 innings, he has totaled 26 strikeouts and 24 walks. |
