Boynton Sensational, 5-for-6
Friday, September 15th , 2045
Scranton WB second baseman James Boynton had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Rochester Red Wings at Frontier Field as the RailRiders picked up a 25-1 victory.
"He was patient up there today," Scranton WB skipper Cory Wade told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Boynton has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
James Boynton hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Angel Vidaurri in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Takashi Yamada in the 4th, walked in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
In the 2045 season Boynton is hitting .293 with 17 home runs.
