Chihuahuas Cruise to Division Championship with Sweep Friday, September 29th , 2045 The El Paso Chihuahuas have swept the Reno Aces and are on to the Division Championship. El Paso won 6-2 today at Aces Ballpark to clinch the Wildcard Series. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said El Paso first baseman Jeremy Lewis, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Lewis won the award with a .500 batting average and a .444 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
