Zujovic's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Saturday, December 23rd , 2045 Vince Zujovic is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Bats sent the 27-year-old closer back to the doctors for reexamination. Zujovic told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Zujovic will now miss a minimum of 14-15 months. Vince Zujovic is expected to undergo surgery in Louisville(Kentucky) tomorrow. Since he came up Zujovic has been credited with no saves. In 53 games and 275.1 innings pitched, he has a 16-14 won-lost mark, a 3.60 ERA and 265 strikeouts. |
