Naturals Take It on Chin, Lose, 17-0, to Portland Friday, July 21st , 2045 The Portland Sea Dogs rolled to an easy 17-0 win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at Arvest Ballpark today. Leading the way to victory was starter Steve Capizzi, who shackled the Northwest Arkansas Naturals and held them scoreless on a 2-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Capizzi said in his postgame press conference. In 20 starts this year Capizzi has posted 6 wins while suffering 10 losses. He has pitched 115.2 innings, allowed 88 hits, struck out 106 and has a 3.58 ERA. |
