5-Hit Blitz by Cluster Tuesday, August 8th , 2045 The Springfield Cardinals tripped up the Tennessee Smokies 21-2 today. The Cardinals were led by Dave Cluster, their 24-year-old third baseman. Cluster made life miserable for Tennessee pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Dave Cluster tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Alvaro Andrade in the 6th. This year Cluster has hit at a .360 clip with 36 RBIs, 4 home runs and 31 runs scored. |
