Jim Pankratz, the Chattanooga Lookouts 22-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for American League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 26 at-bats, compiling a .423 average with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. In his season totals, Pankratz has 12 home runs, .340 BA, .431 OBP, 67 RBIs and 69 runs scored.
