Injury Brings Season to End for Richards Friday, September 1st , 2045 Ray Richards has to call it a season. The Bowie Baysox reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 08/31/2045 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months. The team will likely place Richards on the injured list today. To this point in the season, Richards has put up these figures: 1-1 record, 33 relief appearances with 50 innings, no saves, 60 strikeouts, 22 walks and a 3.78 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .254 batting average. |
