Lookouts Listless in 19-0 Loss to Biscuits Monday, September 11th , 2045 Colin Lancey Jr. kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Montgomery Biscuits were all smiles after winning 19-0 against the Chattanooga Lookouts at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium today. The right-handed Lancey Jr. gave up no runs in his start, permitted 6 hits and had 6 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Lancey Jr. said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." Lancey Jr. has made 28 starts this season, posting 16 wins and 9 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .184 against him and he has 216 strikeouts in 192 innings with a 1.92 ERA. |
