Shank Whitewashes Chattanooga Tuesday, September 12th , 2045 Scott Shank kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Montgomery Biscuits were all smiles after winning 4-0 against the Chattanooga Lookouts at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium today. The right-handed Shank gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits and had 12 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Shank said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." His record this season is 13-7 in 28 starts and Shank has a 2.77 ERA. |
