Lancey Jr. Tosses Shutout Against Bowie Saturday, September 16th , 2045 Colin Lancey Jr. kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Montgomery Biscuits were all smiles after winning 5-0 against the Bowie Baysox at Prince George's Stadium today. The right-handed Lancey Jr. gave up no runs in his start, permitted 3 hits and had 7 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Lancey Jr. said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." This season Lancey Jr. has compiled a 17-9 record with a 1.84 ERA in 29 starts. |
