Hernandez Wins AL Manager of the Year Trophy Thursday, November 9th , 2045 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Cesar Hernandez, he seems to have taken the Frisco RoughRiders to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the American League for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Hernandez led Frisco to a first place finish in the American League West Division. The RoughRiders ended up with a 126-27 record. |
