2045 AL Top Player Trophy Given to Rheaume

Jake Rheaume took Eastern League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22.
For his spectacular campaign, the Montgomery Biscuits star has been named the 2045 American League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the left fielder.
On the season he compiled a .345 batting average to go with a .456 on-base percentage. The native of Safford, Arizona also added 38 doubles, 6 triples, 34 home runs, 109 RBIs and 140 runs scored.
He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. John Shults of the Midland RockHounds finished second in voting, while Joe Kemp of the Frisco RoughRiders finished third.
