Nelson Batters Columbia Big Time
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Josh Nelson today. Nelson went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Columbia pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at MGM Park, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Biloxi Shuckers had a 11-2 victory over the Fireflies.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Josh Nelson hit a two-run home run off Keith Noftall in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

For the year Nelson is batting .243 with 74 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 29 times and driven in 38.
