Loons Shut Out Mets, Allen Winner
		 |

Fans at NYSEG Stadium witnessed the Great Lakes Loons blank the Binghamton Mets, 6-0 behind a superb effort by starter Nate Allen. The Great Lakes right-hander allowed 1 hit in recording the shutout.
"Nate was good today but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Great Lakes manager Aaron Holbert said later. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it."
