Missions Cruise to Division Championship with Sweep
The San Antonio Missions proved to be too much to handle for the Altoona Curve in the Wildcard Series, and a sweep was the end result.

San Antonio punched its ticket to the Division Championship on the strength of a 6-3 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 2-0.

San Antonio catcher Curtis Thompson, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Altoona pitching to the tune of a .500 average, with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
