			Maserang Blisters Pensacola
		 |

It was a good day for the Missions at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium as they clipped the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 8-7. It was tremendous day for Mike Maserang, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-7.
"I don't know what to call that," the San Antonio first baseman told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well."
Mike Maserang grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, hit a solo-shot off Tim Bant in the 11th, singled in the 13th and hit an RBI single in the 14th.
This season Maserang is swinging the bat at a .227 pace. He has hit 2 home runs and scored 11 times, while driving in 10. His on-base percentage is .298 and he has played in 21 games.
