Jeff Olech Blanks Harrisburg, 5-0
|
Jeff Olech was dynamite at FNB Field today, blowing away the Harrisburg Senators in a shutout victory. The Mississippi Braves starter had everything working as he held the Senators to 4 hits in the 5-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Harrisburg skipper Hichori Toyama. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Olech finished the game with 5 strikeouts and no walks.
Currently Olech has a 10-2 won-lost record in 14 starts with a 2.14 ERA. He also has 91 strikeouts in 92.1 innings.
