Round 3 Goes the Distance, Stockton Prevails
The Stockton Ports and Tampa Yankees held nothing back in an entertaining Round 3 that went the distance.

In the end, it will be Stockton advancing to the World Series, after a 4-1 triumph in the final game at Banner Island Ballpark, to wrap up the series 4-3.

The Ports players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Yankees.

Chance Stever was named series MVP for Stockton. For the series, Stever hit .333 with a .367 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Stockton Ports will play against the Dunedin Blue Jays in the next round. Dunedin won their series against the High Desert Mavericks 4 games to 0. The World Series schedule will be announced after the Round 3 finishes.
