Springfield Advances to Conference Championship Sunday, October 8th , 2045 Springfield Cardinals fans are rejoicing after a 6-3 win at FirstEnergy Stadium has propelled the club to a 4-1 Division Championship victory over the Reading Fightin Phils. With the win, the club advanced on to the Conference Championship. "Total team effort, that's the only way we get it done in this one," said Springfield catcher Mark Marks, who was named series MVP. The Conference Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Championship finishes. |
