Tuesday, November 7th , 2045
Elliot Ziemba was a calming influence out of the Mobile BayBears bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 26-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the National League Reliever of the Year for 2045.

The Johnson City, Tennessee native won the award with 3 saves in 43 relief appearances, 91 strikeouts in 104.2 innings and a record of 10-3 to go with his 1.98 ERA.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jose Fernandez of the Mobile BayBears finished second in voting, while Trevor Sharp of the Biloxi Shuckers finished third.
