Ramirez Batters Northwest Arkansas for 5 Hits Sunday, June 3rd , 2046 Arkansas second baseman Jose Ramirez had a day to remember today, 5-for-8 against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at Arvest Ballpark as the Travelers picked up a 28-1 victory. "He was patient up there today," Arkansas skipper Jack Zyska told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Ramirez has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Jose Ramirez doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Ramirez is batting at a .193 pace this season, picking up 36 hits in 187 at-bats with no home runs, 9 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
