Injury Derails Season for de la Torre Tuesday, August 14th , 2046 Francisco de la Torre had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a torn labrum on 08/11/2046. Today he received word from the Corpus Christi doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. So far this year de la Torre has been credited with 7 saves, registered a 0.59 ERA and struck out 17 in 15.1 innings. He also has a 1-0 record. |
