Powers Strokes 5 Hits Friday, August 17th , 2046 It was a magical day at the plate for Chattanooga Lookouts second baseman J.J. Powers. The 22-year-old Powers helped lift Chattanooga to a 8-3 win over the Erie SeaWolves today at AT&T Field. Powers smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club to victory. J.J. Powers singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Matt Granados in the 8th. Currently Powers is hitting .266 and has collected 3 home runs, 34 RBIs and scored 82 times, while playing in 105 games. |
