Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Erie Thursday, August 30th , 2046 In the middle of a disastrous season, it would be understandable if Erie SeaWolves fans had already started to turn their attention to next year. Doubly so as of today, as the SeaWolves have now been officially eliminated from playoff contention. Erie last appeared in the postseason in 2042. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 28 times in their 31 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the SeaWolves have only made the playoffs once. |
