Nobles Pitches Fisher Cats to Shutout Victory Wednesday, September 19th , 2046 New Hampshire pitcher Art Nobles gave the Northwest Arkansas Naturals fits today as he blanked them 14-0 on 5 hits. He registered 11 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout. "When he's locating his pitches, he becomes unpredictable," Fisher Cats manager Stu Cole said. "He had Northwest Arkansas guessing the entire game." To date this season Nobles sports a 8-2 mark with a 2.09 ERA in 10 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .225 batting average and has 73 strikeouts in 90.1 innings. |
