Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, Midland Prevails Monday, October 1st , 2046 It was a rousing finish to the Wildcard Series at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium today. The Midland RockHounds sent the Montgomery Biscuits home for the season with a 4-2 win in the decisive game of the series. The RockHounds took the series 2-1. Up next on their schedule is the Division Championship. Hauling in the MVP trophy was Midland third baseman Tim Cordle. His numbers included a .467 batting average, 3 RBIs and 1 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Division Championship," he said. The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
