American League Best Pitcher Chosen Sunday, November 11th , 2046 The Chattanooga Lookouts have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Bud Puffer, this year's American League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Puffer compiled a 20-6 record in 31 starts, tallied 274 strikeouts in 220.2 innings and recorded a 2.32 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .202 batting average against him. He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 30. Chris Ross of the Montgomery Biscuits finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Michael Twigg of the Midland RockHounds finished third.
