Standout Season For Andrews, Wins AL Most Valuable Player Award

Jack Andrews took Eastern League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.
For his spectacular campaign, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats star has been named the 2046 American League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the second baseman.
On the season he compiled a .318 batting average to go with a .381 on-base percentage. The native of Sint Nicolas, Aruba also added 30 doubles, 6 triples, 14 home runs, 97 RBIs and 83 runs scored.
He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 30. Johnny Stables of the Frisco RoughRiders finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while David Ward of the Montgomery Biscuits finished third.
