Daniels Deals GreenJackets 8-0 Shutout Thursday, May 17th , 2046 The Great Lakes Loons rolled to an easy 8-0 win over the Augusta GreenJackets at Lake Olmstead Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Jonathan Daniels, who shackled the Augusta GreenJackets and held them scoreless on a 7-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Daniels said in his postgame press conference. This season Daniels has worked 56 innings with 67 strikeouts en route to a 5-2 record and a 3.05 ERA. |
