Nelson, Cory Suspended for Fracas Tuesday, June 12th , 2046 Frank Nelson of Lansing and Chris Cory of Greenville were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Nelson will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Cory was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year Nelson is batting .270 with 2 home runs. Looking at his season stats, Cory has won 7 and lost 3, collecting 68 strikeouts and 18 walks in 80.1 innings with a 2.24 ERA. |
