Munos Belts Bunch of Base Hits
Sunday, July 15th , 2046
It was a sensational day at the plate for Carlos Munos as he led the charge to a 20-1 win over the Legends. The Lake County second baseman was pure misery for the Lexington pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Munos put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Tyler Sturdevant, manager for the Legends, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Carlos Munos hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Junsuke Abe in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
