Malave Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Saturday, July 21st , 2046 The number just keeps getting higher. Hagerstown right fielder Jesus Malave has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Hagerstown took the 5-2 win over the South Bend Cubs at Municipal Stadium. "Who knows how long it will go on?" South Bend manager Akil Baddoo said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Jesus Malave grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th.
