Injury Sidelines Mendoza for Season Thursday, July 26th , 2046 Fernando Mendoza had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament on 07/25/2046. Today he received word from the Greenville doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. To this point in the season, Mendoza has rung up 3 saves in 49 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 2.17 ERA, 2 wins and 5 losses and 74 strikeouts in 62.1 innings. |
