Castillo Tosses 5-0 Shutout Thursday, August 16th , 2046 West Virginia hurler Francisco Castillo put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Hagerstown Suns with a 5-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 9 hits with 7 strikeouts and no walks to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Hagerstown manager Vincent Velasquez told reporters after the game. This season Castillo has compiled a 5-4 mark with a 3.66 ERA. |
