Kane County Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Wednesday, August 22nd , 2046 The Kane County Cougars certainly didn't impress many fans this with their play on the field. And now there is no hope of turning a dismal season around -- the team was officially knocked out of playoff contention today. The Cougars have missed the playoffs 28 times in their 31 years as a Midwest League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2040. In the last 10 seasons, the Cougars have only made the playoffs once. |
