Charleston Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Friday, August 24th , 2046 Joe Shaw said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Charleston RiverDogs after they missed the Midwest League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2044.In total, the RiverDogs have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 31-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the RiverDogs have missed the playoffs 2 times. |
