Edmunds on Fire: 5-for-6 for Clinton Friday, August 24th , 2046 The Clinton LumberKings tripped up the Quad Cities River Bandits 19-5 today. The LumberKings were led by Nick Edmunds, their 22-year-old right fielder. Edmunds made life miserable for Quad Cities pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Nick Edmunds singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Mike Koch in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Edmunds is hitting .230 with 5 home runs. |
