5-Hit Game for Boseman Friday, August 24th , 2046 Hagerstown right fielder Deshawn Boseman had a big day at NewBridge Bank Park today against the Greensboro Grasshoppers. The 25-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Suns to a 15-5 triumph over Greensboro. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Boseman said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Deshawn Boseman tripled in the 2nd, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Mike Yorke in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Boseman is currently hitting at a .286 pace with 8 home runs, 29 RBIs and has scored 28 times. |
