Rehab Setback for Dave Waterman Friday, August 31st , 2046 Fort Wayne reliever Dave Waterman reportedly suffered a setback this week while rehabilitating a stiff back. Preliminary tests showed the injury had gotten worse and would need more time to be completely healed. An unidentified team official said it looked like it would be at least one week before Waterman would be able to return to the active roster. Waterman will see a specialist tomorrow. This year Waterman has 33 relief appearances, saving 11. His record is 3-2 with 29 strikeouts in 32 innings and a 3.09 ERA. |
