Loyola August's Best Bat Choice Saturday, September 1st , 2046 For a rookie just breaking in, Danny Loyola certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the NL Batter of the Month award for August. The 27-year-old second baseman for the Fort Wayne TinCaps hit .358 with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Thus far this season Loyola has hit .331 with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 32 times. |
