Playoffs? No Chance for Kannapolis Wednesday, September 5th , 2046 Vic Lucatero said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Kannapolis Intimidators after they missed the Midwest League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Intimidators have made the playoffs 15 times in their 31 years as a Midwest League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044. In the last 10 seasons, the Intimidators have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
