The BlueClaws were led by Mark Schultz, their 21-year-old second baseman. Schultz made life miserable for Greensboro pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Mark Schultz singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
