Grasshoppers Mathematically Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 12th , 2046 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Greensboro Grasshoppers this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Before this season, the Grasshoppers last missed the playoffs in 2044. In the 31 years they have been a Midwest League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 23 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Grasshoppers have only made the playoffs once. |
